Does Your Car Qualify?
- Antique & Classic Cars: Private passenger motor vehicle which has not been altered from its original factory
specifications and is over 20 years old. It is generally of unique design and/or limited production base. It must be a
vehicle whose value extends beyond the utilitarian aspect of daily transportation.
- Customized/Modified: Private passenger motor vehicle, which is at least 20 years old, that has been altered from its
original design with modifications to the engine, chassis, body style, paint, and/or interior.
- Street Rods: Private passenger motor vehicle manufactured prior to 1949, but which has been modified from its
original design with modifications to the engine, chassis, body style, paint, and/or interior.
- Exotics: Private passenger motor vehicle which has not been altered from its original factory specifications. It's a
unique design and of limited production. In addition, the vehicle's value is derived from a combination of performance
and artistic nature of body work and interior.
- Kit Cars & Replicas: Private passenger motor vehicle of new manufacture or construction, which mimics a prior year's
vehicle design (usually of a classic or antique model year). This may be purchased as an assembled or pre-
assembled vehicle. Dune buggies are not eligible for coverage with MTKSI Collector Car Insurance.
- Vintage, Antique, Classic, Limited Edition, Prototype & Modified Motorcycles: A motorcycle of recognized collector
status that is part of a collection.
